（中央社巴拿馬市14日綜合報導）國際貨幣基金（IMF）認為，巴拿馬經濟發展前景看好，並預估在12年內，巴拿馬將成為拉丁美洲國內生產毛額（GDP）第9高的國家。

目前，以403億美元的年GDP總額，巴拿馬的經濟規模居拉丁美洲第13位，還在哥斯大黎加、瓜地馬拉、烏拉圭和多明尼加4國之下，但據IMF估計，如果巴拿馬能維持目前6%的平均年經濟成長率，到了2026年，巴國的年GDP將超過目前的一倍，超過上述4國。

本地媒體引述一位IMF官員表示，巴拿馬的經濟非常蓬勃、各方面成長率均高且經濟活動分散、具強烈的互補性及協調性，使這個國家的經濟有能力面對國際危機的衝擊。

這位官員同時指出，巴拿馬的經濟發展還有一個有利的條件，就是它的出口以服務業為主，使得巴拿馬在國際原物價劇烈波動時，能保持穩定發展。(中央社)
