俄羅斯央行15日臨時開會決定，將基準利率從10.5%上調至17%，升息幅度創1998年來最大。

俄羅斯央行在聲明中指出，升息是為遏制盧布貶值和通膨風險。

俄羅斯盧布15日收盤暴跌10.6%至64.439盧布兌1美元，創16年最大跌幅。

俄羅斯2014年已六度升息，之前投入超過800億美元外匯存底，也未能阻止盧布跌勢。盧布是今年全球表現最差的貨幣。

俄羅斯因3月入侵烏克蘭的克里米亞，促使美國與盟國對俄羅斯實施制裁，俄羅斯經濟此後每況愈下。
